Abstract

The article offers information on the law related to the solution of nuclear waste problem. It states that Nuclear Waste Policy Act was passed in 1983 that was involved in an agreement with the generators of nuclear waste and Department of Energy (DOE) to collect waste in return of payment. It also informs about the involvement of Department of Justice (DOJ) which is responsible for protecting government against the litigation before the U.S. Federal Court.
