Abstract
The article discusses the concerns related to California's recently proposed multiple parents bill. It highlights relevant legal doctrines to explain the concept of multiple-parenthood and expresses rights and responsibilities of parenthood. It addresses the constitutional framework of parenthood in which one parent has right to look after the best interests of the child for avoiding the practical problems that affects the health and well-being of the child.
