  • Eight new faculty members are joining Notre Dame Law School for the 2023-24 academic year.
  • They include: Professor of Law Derek Muller, Associate Professor of Law Michael Francus, Associate Professor of Law Rev. Patrick Reidy, C.S.C., and Visiting Assistant Professor of Law Jorge Barrera-Rojas.
  • Associate Teaching Professor Kari Gallagher, Associate Teaching Professor Jacqueline Carney, and Associate Teaching Professor Kristina Swanson are new faculty in the Legal Writing Program.
  • Michael Greenlee has joined the faculty as associate director of the Kresge Law Library.
  • Congratulations to Stefan McDaniel on being appointed an associate professor of law. He has served as a visiting professor for the past two years, and as the Program on Church, State & Society Rodes Fellow last year.
  • Jimmy Gurulé was on Bloomberg Law podcast, “Trump and 18 Allies Charged in Georgia RICO Indictment."
  • Derek Muller was quoted by Bloomberg in “DeSantis Crushes Trump in Cash from Lawyers Seeking Alternative.”
  • G. Robert Blakey was quoted by the Daily Beast in the article, "Rudy’s RICO Origin Story Is as Fake as His Hair Color."
  • Please join the Kresge Law Library in congratulating outgoing Research and Rare Books Librarian Steven Mitchell on his new position as Research Services Fellow at Yale Law School's Lillian Goldman Law Library!
  • Notre Dame Law School hosted a conference on English legal history recently in London. The conference was organized by Christian Burset and David Waddilove, and Cambridge Law Professor David Ibbetson, who teaches in the London Law Programme.

Student News

  • Last week we officially welcomed 180 new members of the Class of 2026 to Notre Dame Law School.
  • Allison Morcus and Sarah Barritt, students in the National Immigrant Justice Center externship, helped their client win asylum at the Chicago Immigration Court.
