  • Lloyd Mayer contributed several pieces to the Nonprofit Law Prof Blog about corporate philanthropy from a tax perspective, The Independent Report for donor-advised funds, and increases in automatic revokations [sic] due to COVID-19.

Friday, April 25

  • Private Law Workshop, 12:30 p.m., 3108 Eck Hall. Kevin Davis, Beller Family Professor of Business Law, New York University School of Law: Legal Heterodoxy in the Global South: Priority of Workers versus Secured Creditors in Insolvency (with Mariana Pargendler & Maria Eduarda Lessa). Lunch will be provided. There will be a pause at 1:30 p.m. to allow for those who need to leave early.
  • JICL Symposium: Modern Migration Law, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. Discussions will explore critical topics such as asylum law, the rights of minors in immigration proceedings, due process concerns, and the experiences of international students.
