Abstract

Cardinal Patrick Hayes, head of the New York archdiocese, and Gilbert K. Chesterton, England's celebrated journalist and novelist attended and spoke at the University of Notre Dame's blessing of the new law building. William Hoynes, Dean Emeritus, was unable to attend due to the infirmities of age.
