Staff Spotlight - Christine Holst

Christine Holst joined the CDO last year from Barnes & Thornburg in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

  • Favorite spot in the South Bend area: Along the river downtown - love the river lights!
  • Favorite pizza topping: Ham and Mushroom
  • If I could go anywhere in the world right now, it would be ... Colorado - My best friend lives there, and I love hiking and looking for wildlife in the mountains.
  • If I had two extra hours in my day, I would ... Sleep more
  • One of the things that annoys me most is ... Road construction, especially right now by my house - can't get anywhere without a huge detour!
  • Something fun that most people don't know about me is ... I have traveled much of the country by small plane. My dad has his private pilot license and owns a 6-seat twin engine airplane. (Way cool!)
  • If I could be any animal, I would be a ... Dog, so I could hang with my pups at home :)
  • If I could only have one book for the rest of my life, it would be ... Harry Potter series (I know that's seven books, but I'd want them all!) Always a fun re-read and reminds me of being a kid and waiting for the next one to come out.
  • One accomplishment of which I am proud: Training for and completing the Sunburst 5K in June.
