Abstract

Nicole Stelle Garnett, the John P. Murphy Foundation Professor of Law at the University of Notre Dame, will be featured as the keynote speaker during Holy Cross College’s 51st Commencement Exercises taking place Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.

Professor Garnett looks to speak on a key aspect of Catholic education – its impact on the common good. Often Catholic schools are given the label “private”, but in important respects their mission is public.
