Abstract

Notre Dame Law School alumnus Michael Sherwin '98 J.D. has been in the news recently.

As acting U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, Sherwin is prosecuting the people who invaded the U.S. Capitol on January 6. The office in Washington has taken charge of more than 180 cases filed in connection with the Capitol siege. Those cases include individuals from 40 states and D.C., according to George Washington University's Program on Extremism.
