Melinda Henneberger in conversation with Mark McKenna
Melinda Henneberger '80, is an editorial writer and columnist for The Kansas City Star. In 2019, she was named a Pulitzer finalist for commentary and won the Mike Royko Award for commentary and column writing given by the News Leaders Association. An Illinois native, she graduated from the University of Notre Dame and the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium. Previously, she was a reporter for the Dallas Morning News, New York Newsday, and the New York Times and was a fellow at Harvard's Shorenstein Center.
