Please consider attending a special screening of No Other Land, the recent winner of the Academy Award for Best Documentary. The film follows the resistance and survival of the Palestinian community in Msafer Yatta, highlighting the friendship between Basel Adra, a young Palestinian activist, and Yuval Abraham, a Jewish Israeli journalist, as they document the struggles of their people. Their relationship stands as an inspiration for forging alliances under extreme duress.
This free but ticketed event is co-presented by Contending Modernities, the John and Margaret Brogan Endowment for Excellence in Documentary Film, and the Notre Dame Initiative on Race and Resilience. Tickets—which can be reserved here—will be available at the Ticket Office beginning one hour before the screening.
