Join us for a conversation with Indiana Representative Bob Morris as part of Death Penalty Abolition Week.

Honorable Bob Morris, Indiana Representative since 2010 and member of the Republican party, will discuss his own legislative efforts to abolish the death penalty in Indiana. In 2025, Morris sponsored Indiana House Bill 1030, which sought to repeal the use of capital punishment in the state. Morris and his family are active members of Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, and he has been deeply influenced by his Catholic faith to oppose the use of capital punishment, passionately working to repeal its practice in the state of Indiana.

Opening remarks will be made by Dean G. Marcus Cole.

This event is hosted as part of the Exoneration Justice Clinic’s second annual Death Penalty Abolition Week.
