Bruce Boyden is an Associate Professor at Marquette University Law School, where he teaches copyrights, Internet law, privacy law, and civil procedure. His scholarship focuses on various ways technological change affects the evolution of legal doctrine, including recent articles on computer-generate works and automated public performances. He is currently researching the historical development of the doctrines of secondary liability and substantial similarity in copyright law.
