The American Constitution Society hosts Professor Segall of Georgia State University to speak on the 2023–24 Supreme Court term, which was full of essential cases involving abortion, guns, presidential immunity, and presidential disqualification. The overwhelming factor in all these cases was not text, history, or precedent, but concerns about the 2024 election. This focus on partisan politics is not how the Court should operate.
