  • Bruce Huber wrote an article for The Conversation about the challenges of eliminating fossil fuels because of global governmental subsidies.
  • Last week, Mary Ellen O'Connell spoke on a panel about "Opening questions in governing AI" at a conference jointly sponsored by the Global Commission on Responsible AI in the military domain and South Africa's Defense AI Research Unit.
  • Last week, Diane Desierto spoke on a panel at the 2024 National Lawyers Convention about U.S. engagement with the International Court of Justice and International Criminal Court.
  • Christine Venter spoke at a roundtable at the University of Michigan Law School about her forthcoming article on Developing a Professional Identity. The article will appear in the Michigan Journal of Gender and the Law.
  • Nicole Garnett's co-authored article about Loffman v. California was featured in Mosaic Magazine.
  • This week, Derek Muller was featured on the 1A NPR podcast where he spoke about anticipations for President Biden's last few months in office.
  • Kari Gallagher moderated a panel, "Effective Revising and Editing," for The Clerkship College, a two-day clerkship preparation program cosponsored by Wake Forest University School of Law Program for Leadership and Character and the Legal Writing Institute.
  • On Tuesday, Rick Garnett will speak on "Religion and the American Constitutional Experiment" as part of the Hesburgh Lecture Series for the Notre Dame Club of McHenry County (Illinois).
  • David McIlroy's chapter on "The Reformation and human rights" is forthcoming in The legal legacy of the Reformation: Catholic and Protestant approaches to law (Routledge, 2024).
