- Fr. John Paul Kimes spoke at a book reception for "Hopeful Realism: Evangelical Natural Law and Democratic Politics" on March 20.
- Sam Bray was quoted in NBC News, Bloomberg Law, ABC News, and The Darien Times about national injunctions against the Trump administration executive orders.
- Mary Ellen O'Connell was quoted in PolitiFact and Al Jazeera critiquing the Trump administration's use of "invasion" rhetoric to justify deportations without due process.
- Last week, Rick Garnett spoke on religious accommodations and other values as part of the Murphy Institute's "Hot Topics: Cool Talk" series at the University of St. Thomas.

- Death Penalty Abolition Week: A talk with Yusef Salaam, 12:30 p.m., 1130 Eck Hall. A discussion with Yusef Salaam, a member of the Central Park Five who was wrongfully convicted and later exonerated.

- Death Penalty Abolition Week: A talk with death row exoneree Lamont Hunter and his attorney Erin Barnhart '05 J.D., 12:30 p.m., 1130 Eck Hall. A conversation with Lamont Hunter, who was released from death row after being wrongfully convicted, and Erin Barnhart '05 J.D,. an ND Law graduate who represented him.

- Death Penalty Abolition Week: A talk with Syl Schieber, 12:30 p.m., McCartan Courtroom. Syl Schieber will share his personal journey and decades of advocacy with his wife to abolish the death penalty in the U.S. following the murder of their daughter, Shannon. His opposition is rooted in his Catholic faith and belief in the sanctity of human life.

- Death Penalty Abolition Week: A talk with St. Helen Prejean, 12:30 p.m., McCartan Courtroom. Sister Helen Prejean, a leading voice for the abolition of the death penalty, has dedicated her life to advocating for human dignity. Her book Dead Man Walking sparked a nationwide movement. Sister Helen will share her journey in the fight to abolish the death penalty.

Friday, March 28
- Symposium: What Do We Owe Our Veterans?, 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Downes Ballroom. Admiral Christopher W. Grady, Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, will be the keynote speaker. Other speakers will include Denis McDonough, former Secretary of Veterans Affairs; Angela Lowe, veterans disability attorney with Jan Dils, Attorney at Law; and Brian Nicholson, Department of Defense Cyber Program Director.
- Private Law Workshop: Gabriel Rauterberg, Professor of Law, University of Michigan Law School Corporate Origins: The Medieval Corporation, 12:30 p.m., 3108 Eck Hall. There will be a pause at 1:30 p.m. to allow for those who need to leave early.
